Marjorie Bristle, formerly of Willmar and the Maynard area, died on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at the Chippewa Co- Montevideo Hospital at the age of 92. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Mary Hovland officiating. Interment will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens. Anderson Funeral Home of Montevideo is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Marjorie Fern Bristle was born on February 23, 1915 in Boone, IA to Fred and Eunice (Snide) Bristle. She moved with her family to the Maynard, MN when she was 5 years old. She grew up in the Maynard area and graduated from Maynard High School. She attended the Minneapolis School Of Business and upon it’s completion worked for about three years in Duluth, MN. She moved to Minneapolis and worked as a secretary in the insurance industry for many years before retiring. She moved to Willmar about eight years ago and has spent the past four years as a resident of the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo. Her special interests included reading and scrap booking.
She is survived by her niece and nephews: John (and Cathy) Bristle of Maynard, MN; David (and Rona) Bristle of Maynard, MN; Janet (and Larry) Bosch of Clara City, MN and Dan (and Brenda) Bristle of Maynard, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ralph Bristle and by a sister, Viola Cunningham.
