Mark Tanhoff

Mark Tanhoff, of Renville, died Friday, October 19, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident near Renville at the age of 50.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at United Methodist Church in Montevideo.

Visitation with the family will be held from 5 - 7 PM on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Mark Andrew Tanhoff was born January 30, 1968 at Montevideo, MN the son of Loren and Patricia (Phillips) Tanhoff.  He was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church and attended school in Montevideo.  Mark was united in marriage with Julie Gullickson in 1989.  They made their home in the Montevideo area.  Mark later moved to Renville and had worked at the Southern MN Beet Sugar Cooperative in Renville for 16 years.  He loved to go fishing and would fish anyplace there was water.  The thing that really put a sparkle in his eye were his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his girlfriend Dianna "DeDe" Johnson; three children: Travis Gullickson, Sean Tanhoff, and Kayla Tanhoff; four grandchildren: Tianna, Mayson, Makyah, Jaxson and another one that is expected very soon; the mother of his children, Julie Gullickson; his father, Loren Tanhoff; grandmother, Lois Phillips; two sisters: Tracy Tanhoff and Sara Tanhoff; and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents: Paul Phillips and Cleon "Bob"  and  Faye Tanhoff; his mother, Patricia Tanhoff; uncle, Peter Phillips; and two cousins: Jennifer Phillips and Casey Jo Schulte.
