Marlys Adamson

Marlys Adamson passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 under Hospice Care at Luther Haven Nursing Home Montevideo, MN at the age of 83.

A private burial will take place at Terrace Lawn Cemetery, rural Montevideo.  Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Marlys Ann Adamson was born at St Luke’s Hospital, Fargo, ND to Arthur and Margaret (Wells) Adamson on May 18, 1940. Marlys lived with her family in Fargo and Hatton, ND before moving in 1950 to a farm near Watson, MN. She attended school at Owatonna, MN after which she worked several places in Spicer and Willmar, MN; including The Timbers. Marlys suffered a stroke and was a resident of Willmar Care Center until 2013 when she became a resident of Luther Haven.

Marlys is survived by her sister Ruth E Asmus; two nieces Barbara Danielson, Laurie Asmus; great niece Sara (Phil) Wieck and two great great nephews Anthony and Andrew Wieck all of Fargo and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother in law Clifford W Asmus; nephew in law Jerry C Danielson; paternal grandparents Fred and Mary Adamson, Watson, MN; maternal grandparents John and Mabel Wells, Cooperstown, ND; and many aunts and uncles.
