Martha Cummings, of Montevideo, died on Friday November 25, 1994 at the Clarkfield Care Center in Clarkfield at the age of 82. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday November 30, 1994 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Roger Rekstad officiating. Burial will be in the Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Martha Mary (Langbecker) Cummings was born on February 5, 1912 in Foreman, ND to Oscar and Bertha Langbecker. She graduated from Wheaton High School in 1930. On October 19, 1934 she was united in marriage to Earl Cummings in Wheaton. They lived in Appleton,Mn. for a couple of years before moving to Montevideo in the late 1930's. She lived in Montevideo until becomming a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center in 1991. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband Earl of Clarkfield; by a daughter - Marilyn Lovsness of Aitkin, Mn.; by a son - Earl Dean of Mountain Home, ID.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; by a sister - Mable Anderson of Minneapolis; as well as by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother - Ernest Langbecker.
