Marvel "Micky" Larson, of Montevideo, died on Wednesday February 15, 1995 at the Chippewa Co-Montevideo Hospital at the age of 77. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday February 2o, 1995 at 1:30 P.M. at Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo with Rev. Paul Christopher officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Marvel Ramona (Nagel) Larson was born on February 2, 1918 in Sparta Township of Chippewa Co., Minnesota to John and Jennie (Glemmen) Nagel. She grew up in Montevideo and attended Montevideo Public Schools. On December 9, 1939 she was united in marriage to Fred L. Larson in Montevideo. They lived in Montevideo until 1947, after which they lived in several communities including Dawson, Mn., where they lived from 1966 - 1976. They retired and moved back to Montevideo in 1976. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson.
She is survived by a daughter - Marlien and her husband Ted Lohrman of Alexandria, Mn.; by granddaughters - Pamela Thompson of Minneapolis,Mn. and Paula and her husband Gary Szalkiewicz of Chanhassen, Mn.; by a great grandson - Stefan Szalkiewicz; by a brother - Doran Nagel and his wife Ruth of Ortonville,Mn.; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband Fred in 1986.
