Mary Ann Tellinghusen was born on June 18, 1957, in Fargo, ND, to Albert and LaVonne Tellinghusen. She graduated from Red River High School and married Mark Van Binsbergen on March 19, 2005. They lived north of Montevideo, where Mark farmed, and Mary worked at Trailways Café and later at Terri Jeans Unique Apparel.
Mary had a deep passion for working with her hands, whether crafting, sewing, baking, or cooking. She was inseparable from her beloved dog, Bitsy, who was like a child to both her and Mark. Mary enjoyed listening to country music and loved singing and dancing. She took great joy in hosting family holidays, decorating with care and enthusiasm.
Above all, her greatest love was for her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, providing unwavering support and care to her children and grandchildren. Her vibrant spirit and dedication to family left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Mary is survived by her children, Christopher (Angie) Nelson of Montevideo, Brian (Jessie) Nelson of Burnsville, Patrick (Kristie) Nelson of Montevideo, Katelyn (Adam) Christenson of Richmond, Amanda (Chris) Coppin of St. Paul Park, and Erica (Shane) Meier of Claremont; grandchildren, Auri and Rhia Meier, Alyssa and Tristan Nelson, Kyser and Ethan Nelson, and Kaymen and Anden Christenson; sisters, Charlene (Doug) Tangen, Debbie Telander, Julie Mulder, and Robin (Rick) Chamberlin; brother, Albert (Janie) Tellinghusen; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
