Mary Ann Olson Iverson, of Montevideo, died on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 79. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with rev. Marie Eckberg officiating. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to services on Thursday Mary Ann (Olson) Iverson was born on November 28, 1932 on a farm in Kragero Township of Chippewa Co., MN to Joseph E. and Edith (Bystrom) Olson. She was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church, confirmed at Watson Lutheran Church and attended school in Watson and Montevideo. On June 8, 1980 she was united in marriage to Oliver Iverson at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo. She lived in Watson, Boyd, Montevideo and has most recently been a resident of the Luther Haven Nursing Home. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and enjoyed beading and crafts. She is survived by several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Edith Olson and her husband Oliver Iverson.
