Melvin Wallace, of Minneapolis, (formerly of Watson) died on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Ebenezer Care Center in Minneapolis at the age of 70. Funeral services will be held later this week at Watson Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. Melvin Wallace was born on November 12, 1941 in Pine City, MN. He graduated from Montevideo High School in 1960 and moved to Minneapolis. He worked as a cook for 26 years for Fairview Riverside Hospital. He retired in 2001 and moved to Ebenezer Care Center in Minneapolis. He is survived by a brother, Robert Wallace and his wife Barbara of Mobile, AL; a sister, Patricia Casagrande and her husband John of Salisbury, MD; several nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
