Mike Glammeier, of Montevideo, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 61.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo. Rev. Ronald Hobbie will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held for one hour before the services on Thursday.
Michael Dean Glammeier was born June 23, 1951 at Sioux Falls, SD the son of Donald and Avis (Johnson) Glammeier. He attended school in Canton, SD and served in the US Army from July of 1969 until his discharge in February of 1972. After his discharge he lived in Zimmerman, Princeton and Cambridge before moving to Montevideo in August of 2003.
He is survived by his mother, Avis Glammeier of Montevideo, MN; his significant other, Wendy Kesller of Montevideo, MN; two daughters: Samantha Hibben of Willmar, MN and Rachael Peterson of the Twin Cities; six grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen (Michael) Miner of St. Francis, MN; three brothers: Steven (Barbara) Glammeier of Big Lake, MN, Donald Glammeier, Jr. of Emily, MN, and Timothy Glammeier of Granite Falls, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father, Donald and a sister, Julie Glammeier.
