Michael Allen Pitt

Michael Pitt, of Dawson and formerly of Montevideo died as a result of an accident near Montevideo on Sunday, June 13, 1999 at the age of 32.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, June 17, 1999 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Leo Deitemeyer officiating.  Burial was in the Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.

Michael Allan Pitt was born on March 7, 1967 in Montevideo, MN to Marvin and Katie (Petersen) Pitt.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1985.  He worked and lived in Hutchinson,  Minneapolis and Montevideo before moving to Dawson in 1997.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and motorcycle rider.

He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Katie Pitt; one sister, Karen Knutson and her husband Chad of Shakopee, MN; as well as by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
