Michael Prekker

Michael Prekker of Clara City passed away September 3, 2022 at his life long family farm.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, September 10, 2022 in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Clara City with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the service.

Michael Allen Prekker was born January 3, 1956 to Robert and Theresa (Drexler) Prekker  at the Willmar Hospital. He was raised on the farm doing everyday chores and learning his passion with his Dad and family. He went to the local country school and high school, then studied farming at Willmar Vo-Tec. He farmed full time with his father, Robert for many years and enjoyed taking a break on his motorcycles and riding his snowmobiles in the winter. Michael was in Abate and the Farmers Union. Besides his hobbies, he loved spending time with his family the most. He was a family man and a family farm boy at heart.

He is survived by his five children: Holly Prekker of Longview, TX Jeremy Prekker of Longview, TX, Valerie Sunder of Sauk Centre, MN, Schaely Prekker of Clara City, MN and Tallie Prekker of Clara City, MN; one grandson, Xavier Thole; his siblings: John (Norma Jo) Prekker of Danville, VA, Nancy (Don) Van Hauen of Willmar, MN, and Sue Keller of New Ulm, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents.
