Mildred Leona Bright

Mildred Bright, formerly of Montevideo, died on Sunday, September 7, 2003 at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 89.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at 1:30 P.M.at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Kurt Hoover officiating.  Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Mildred Leona Bright was born on January 8, 1914 in Sioux Rapids, IA to Arthur and Bertha (Larson) Bright.  The family moved to Aitken, MN in 1921, where she lived until moving to Montevideo in 1940.  She lived for a number of years at Parkview Towers and has been a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center since 1994.  She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and enjoyed flowers, knitting & sewing.

She is survived by a number of cousins, including Gordon Bright and his wife Gloria of Montevideo, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Lillian Bright in 1978 and by a sister in infancy.
