Milford Orlando Pederson

Milford Pederson, of Montevideo,  died on Wednesday May 24, 1995 at his home at the age of 77.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday May 27 at 10:30 A.M. at Jevnaker Lutheran Church with Rev. Gregory Gabriel officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Milford Orlando Pederson was born on November 8, 1917 in Chippewa Co., MN to Ole and Mina (Falla) Pederson.  he was baptized and confirmed at Jevnaker Lutheran Church.  He attended rural and Milan Schools.  He served in the US Army Air Force from 1942 - 1945.  On August 24, 1947 he was united in marriage to Rosemary Rosen at Our Savior's Lutheran parsonage in Montevideo by Rev. John Mason.  He farmed for many years in Mandt Township in Chippewa Co. before retiring.  He was a member of Jevnaker Lutheran Church, the Mandt Farmers Union, and was a life member of the VFW.

He is survived by his wife - Rosemary;  by a son - Rod Pederson and his wife Barb of Montevideo; by a daughter - Charlene Bloch and her husband Jim of Montevideo; by three grandchildren - Brad, Brent, and Ross Pederson; 4 step-grandchildren - Cheryl Tovsen; Steve & Scott Bloch; and Lori McNichols; 6 step great grandchildren; by brothers - Stanley Pederson and his wife Hazel of Burnsville, MN, Ray Pederson and his wife Delores of Kalamazoo, MI, Vernon Pederson and his wife Gladys of Circle Pines, MN, and Milo Pederson of Montevideo; by sisters - Charlotte Larson and her husband Ray of Watson, MN. Rudell Haugen and her husband Don of Watson, MN. and Elvina Norby and her husband Floyd of Milan, MN. as well as by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters: Omy and Evelyn  and 1 brother, Arvid.
