Minnie P. Olson died on Thursday October 6, 1994 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 84. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday October 8, 1994 at 3:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with rev. Warren Broughton officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Minnie Pauline (Bratland) Olson was born on April 22, 1910 in Montevideo, Mn. to Gust and Bertha Bratland. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo and attended Montevideo Schools. She was united in marriage to C. Eugene Olson in 1946 at her brother's home in Worthington,Mn. She lived most of her life in the Montevideo area. She lived for several years as a resident of the Clara City Nursing Home and has been a long time resident of the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband in 1958, by a brother - Gilbert Bratland; by 3 half-brothers - Ben, Louie and George Hildahl; and by 3 half-sisters - Clara Johnson, Etta Connors, and Emma.
