Mitchell Twite died Monday, September 18, 2023 in Montevideo at the age of 69.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 2-4:00 PM at the VFW in Montevideo. Please come by and share a story with his family. Arrangements are with Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Mitch was born June 26, 1954 in Dawson, Minnesota to Bruce and Bobbe Twite and was the oldest of three children. Mitch excelled in music through high school, sang in the choir, played the trombone, baritone, drums, French horn and even directed the orchestra. He was elected class historian his Senior Year.  Mitch started working for Twite Trucking out of high school and drove long distance for many years. He also worked with a chicken processing plant, hog farm, mobile home building, roofing company and most recently bartending. He always did his job with 100% effort. Mitch loved to do puzzles, watch sports and game shows on TV, tell stories and had an amazing gift for numbers. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Mitch is survived by two sisters: Nickel (Ed) LaFleur, Wasilla, Alaska and Tami (Brad) Moe, Jacksonville, FL; his nephew, Casey (Sarah) Moe, Virginia Beach, VA; his son, Willard Pierce, MN; many aunts, uncles and cousins around the country.
