Myrtle Lund, 76, of Montevideo died August 26, 1992 at Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital in Montevideo, MN.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29, 1992 at 10:00 A.M. at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Rev. Norman Aronson will officiate and interment will be at Strombeck Cemetery, rural Montevideo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon and evening at Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo with the family present from 7-8:00 P.M. and a prayer service at 8:00 P.M. There will also be visitation at the church for one hour before services on Monday.
Myrtle Theoline Olson was born October 5, 1915 at Milan, MN the daughter of the late Martin and Clara (Asjelson) Olson. She attended school and grew to adulthood near Dawson. She was united in marriage with Simon Lund November 1, 1942 at Madison, MN. They made their home at Madison before moving to Dawson in 1955. In 1957 they moved to Montevideo. Simon died September 30, 1990.
She is survived by two daughters: Sandra Meier and her husband Gary of Belton, MO and Linda Cournoyer and her husband Richard of Cedar, MN; two sons: Wayne of Coon Rapids, MN and Mike and his wife Brenda of Montevideo, MN; five grandchildren: Shane, Heidi, Chad, Michael, Jr., and Mary; one sister Selma Kahnk of Watson, MN; and one brother Norman Olson of Dawson.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Simon; five brothers: Elmer, Selvin, Lloyd, Alfred, and Glenn; and one sister Gladys Nash.
