Myrtle Thulin, 94, of Montevideo died October 30, 1994 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 2 at 1:30 P.M. at Saron Lutheran Church. Rev. Wayne Mensing will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and at the church for one hour before services.
Myrtle Thulin was born November 24, 1899 in Chippewa County, MN the daughter of Ole and Mary (Erickson) Fossum. She was confirmed and baptized at Saron Lutheran Church where she was a lifelong member. Myrtle grew up in the Wegdahl area and attended rural school in District 15. She was united in marriage with Alex Thulin at Saron Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one daughter, LaVerne Fullen and her husband Thomas of Ervin, TX; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters: Bernice Fossum, Lilly Olson, and Rose Olson all of Montevideo; one niece and one nephew.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Alex; one son John; one daughter Irene; six brothers: Joe, Walter, Ervin, Bennie, Harry, and Thurman; several nieces and nephews; and two brother-in-laws: Albert Olson and Andrew Olson.
