Oris Kaupang, 73, of Crystal, MN died April 25, 1993 at his home in Crystal.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 28, 1993 at 2:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home. Rev. Irwin Van Leeuwen will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Oris Orlando Kaupaung was born April 13, 1920 at Montevideo, MN the son of Eddie and Christine (Sundt) Kaupang. He attended school and grew to adulthood there. Oris worked on the railroad in California during the 40's and later worked at a foundry in Minneapolis. He retired in the Twin Cities.
He is survived by three sisters: Thelma "Toddy" Petrick of Aitkin, MN, Edna Moudry and her husband Jack of Sartell, MN, and Vivian Phelps of Montevideo, MN; several nieces and nephews; significant other, Iris Freund; her children: Mona Berger, Harvey Freund and his wife Barbara, and Michael Freund and his significant other Ann Weiber; and their children: Andrew, John, Melissa, Sue, and Sheri Berger and Jessica, Chelsea, and Dylan Freund.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers: Gifford Kaupang and Edwin Kaupang.
