Orrin Hoaas, of Minneapolis, died on October 12, 1994 at his home in Milan, Minnesota at the age of 82. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday October 22, 1994 at 1:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Wayne Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Kviteseid Lutheran Cemetery in Milan, Minnesota.
Orrin Clifford Hoaas was born on October 24, 1911 in Milan, Minnesota to Ole G. and Kristiana Hoaas. He grew up in the Milan area and graduated from Appleton High School in 1929. He farmed until the early 1950's, when be began doing carpentry work, which he continued until retiring in the late 1970's. He had been living in Minneapolis, Mn. and at his home away from home in Milan, Mn.
He is survived by a sister - Martha Bertzyk of Minneapolis; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by brothers - Gilbert, Gerhard, and Bennie Hoaas; and by sisters - Lydia Bakke; Mathilda Moen; and Ida Schwandt.
