Palmer Enevoldsen, of Montevideo, died on Friday, June 4, 2004 at the Chippewa Co - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 95.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Ronald Hobbie officiating.  Interment will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening, with the family from 6 - 8 PM and with a prayer service at 8 PM, all at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Palmer Denver Enevoldsen was born on June 1, 1909 in Camp Release Township of Lac qui Parle Co., MN to Peter and Bertha (Erickson) Enevoldsen.  He was baptized at St. Petri Lutheran Church and confirmed on June 24, 1923 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  He attended rural schools.  On December 31, 1939 he was united in marriage to Viola Perske at the St. Paul Lutheran Church Parsonage in Montevideo.  They were life long farmers in Camp Release Township.  He has been a resident of Homefront Homes in Montevideo since 2001.  He was a long-time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo, loved farming and gardening, and enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by children: Paul Enevoldsen and his wife KeEtta and Denny Enevoldsen and his wife Diane, both of Montevideo and Leota Rich and her husband Ken of Inver Grove Heights, MN; grandchildren: Jeremy Enevoldsen and his wife Stacey of Montevideo; Kevin Enevoldsen and his wife Jenny of Clarkfield, MN Aaron Enevoldsen and his wife Kristi of Montevideo; Darcy Enevoldsen of Plymouth, MN; Dion Enevoldsen of Montevideo; Andrea Winter and her husband Eric of Prior Lake, MN; and Tony Rich and his wife Michelle of Cottage Grove, MN; great grandchildren: Kiana Enevoldsen and Wade Winter; and a brother, Alf Enevoldsen of Montevideo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Viola in 2001; by brothers: Gust, Louis, Morris, Gordon, August, and Preston Enevoldsen and by a sister, Rena Falk.
