Patricia Hoyer of Granite Falls, died on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Granite Falls Hospital at the age of 75. Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. at the Kilowatt Community Center in Granite Falls with Rev. Robert Knutson officiating.
Patricia Ann (Conrad) Hoyer was born on December 7, 1938 in Montevideo, MN to Gordon and Catherine (Adams) Conrad. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1956. In 1967 she moved to Granite Falls and in 1970 was united in marriage to Merlyn Hoyer at the Congregational Church in Granite Falls. Pat had been working at the Kilowatt Community Center in Granite Falls as a receptionist. She enjoyed her weekly coffee club with her lady friends. She enjoyed painting, embroidery, reading, gardening, swimming, her dogs, her children and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pat is survived by her five children: Tamara Enstad (Boyd Steffen) of Granite Falls; John (and Marianne) Gordon of Blaine, MN; Matthew (and Jan) Gordon of St. Cloud, MN; Joseph Gordon of Idaho Falls, ID and Katherine Keller (Jim Aus) of Granite Falls; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and a sister, Cynthia Conrad (Al Valenti) of So. Portland, ME.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband Merlyn in 1979.
