Patricia Johnson, of Montevideo, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 65.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Baxter. Rev. Willie Rosin will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 5-7:00 PM at the Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo with a prayer service at 6:45 PM. There will also be visitation for one hour before the service at the church.
Patricia Ann Johnson was born March 17, 1948 in Southern Minnesota. Her parents were Joseph and Helen (Hendrickson) Johnson. She grew up on a farm in Lac qui Parle County, was confirmed at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Baxter, and graduated from Montevideo High School. After graduation, Patty made her home on the farm with her parents and later at area group homes. She enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics. Her favorite past time was to visit. She also loved shopping, attending concerts, and doing jigsaw puzzles and word search.
She is survived by aunts and uncles: Edith Hendrickson of Montevideo, Deloris (Bob) Roggatz of Appleton, Alton (Helen) Hendrickson of Montevideo, Roger (Mary Ann) Hendrickson of South Haven, MN, and Gloria Hendrickson of Montevideo; and numerous cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents; aunts and uncles: James Hendrickson, Sheldon (Avis) Hendrickson, Lloyd Hendrickson, Harold Johnson, and Ethel Nye.
