Patricia Mary (Kellner) Skogrand

Patricia (Pat) Skogrand, of Montevideo died on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at the Chippewa County.- Montevideo Hospital at the age of 78.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 1:30 P.M. at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Charlie Leonard officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening with the family being present from 5 - 7 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Patricia Mary (Kellner) Skogrand was born on May 10, 1928 in Benson, MN to John and Mary (McGee) Kellner.  She grew up in Benson and graduated from Benson High School in 1948.  On March 31, 1949 she was united in marriage to Donald Skogrand in Watson, MN.  They farmed until 1957 when they moved into Montevideo. She worked at the Ben Franklin Store, the Educational Media Center and as a jailer/dispatcher at the Chippewa County Law Enforcement Center. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and the VFW Post #380 Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bridge and bingo.

She is survived by her husband Donald; a son Steven Skogrand of Shakopee, MN; 3 grandchildren: Sean (and Dana) Skogrand of Granite Falls, MN; Chad (and Joey) Skogrand of Shakopee, MN and Jennifer (and David) Dulyx of St. Michael, MN; 4 great grandchildren: Dora & Brady Skogrand of Granite Falls and Jacob & Jacen Skogrand of Shakopee; 4 sisters-in-law: Mildred Skogrand; Leona Skogrand, and Elvira Raffelson of Montevideo and Arlene Kellner of Benson, MN, and a brother-in-law Orice Larson of Montevideo, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons: David & Brian Skogrand; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
