Pauline Rorvig, of Montevideo, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 66. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Salem Lutheran Church. Rev. Matt Philaya will officiate and interment will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Pauline Fern (Quigley) Rorvig was born January 11, 1946 in Havelock Township, Chippewa County, MN the daughter of Roy and Inez (Uttermark) Quigley. She was baptized in Clara City and confirmed at Calvary Lutheran Church in Murdock, MN. Pauline attended country school near Murdock. She lived in Montevideo for several years before moving to northern, WI. In 1991, she moved back to Montevideo and married Dennis Rorvig. She has been living at Luther Haven Nursing Home the past few months. She enjoyed visiting with people, doing crafts, crocheting, playing cards, and going dancing with her husband. She especially enjoyed drinking coffee and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; her mother, Inez Quigley of Sunburg, MN; her children: Dennis Pearson, Jr. of Antigo, WI, Lorraine (Don) Newberry of Wausau, WI, Annette (Gary) Roder of Clarkfield, MN, and Brenda (Gene) Helmer of Wausau, WI; seven grandchildren: Donald Pearson, Kayla Pearson, Kacey Newberry, Taylor Roder, Kirsten Roder, Natasha Helmer, and Austin Helmer; sisters: Phyllis (Gary) Norman of Montevideo, MN, Patsy (Kevin) Olson of Montevideo, MN, Carol (Vern) Herberg of Willmar, MN, Kathrine (Jerry) Quigley of Willmar, MN, Gloria Quigley of Sunburg, MN; brothers: Doug (and friend Shirley) Quigley of Montevideo, MN, Lyle (Tami) Quigley of Glenwood, MN, Gerald Quigley of Sunburg, MN, Richard Quigley of Watson, MN, and Phillip (Jean) Quigley of Watson, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her father; two brothers; two sisters-in-law; one niece and two nephews.
