Pearl Paulsrud, of Montevideo, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 85. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. at Jevnaker Lutheran Church with Rev. Marie Eckberg officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 - 7 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Pearl Elvina Paulsrud was born on November 6, 1922 in Grace Township of Chippewa County, MN to Andrew and Ida (Christenson) Paulsrud. She was baptized on January 24, 1923 by Rev. John Mason at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo and confirmed by Rev. C.T. Jensen on July 18, 1937 at Jevnaker Lutheran Church. She attended Grace Township School District #39 and graduated from Benson High School in 1940. She worked for 36 � years for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Little Falls, Willmar and Montevideo before retiring in 1982. She was a long-time member of Jevnaker Lutheran Church, a member of the telephone Pioneers and enjoyed handwork, gardening and listening to sporting events. She is survived by two sisters: Inez Paulsrud and Mildred (and Roland) Severson, both of Montevideo; a niece, Janna (and Mark) Kovach of Rosemount, MN and a nephew, James Severson in Iraq. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ivar Paulsrud and three sisters, Amanda Paulsrud, Aster Paulsrud and a sister in infancy.
