Perry Dean Flickinger

Perry Flickinger, of Montevideo, died Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 65 after a long illness..

Private family graveside services will be held. Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo is in charge of the arrangements.

Perry Dean Flickinger was born on May 8, 1956 to Walter and Marcia (Steffen) Flickinger in Willmar, MN. He attended schools in Montevideo and lived most of his life in Montevideo The majority of his life was spent as an Over the Road Trucker.   39 years ago he married Ruby Sears and was welcomed by her children and family.  Perry was a big man with a big heart and a wonderful sense of fun. He loved joking around and was a bit of a prankster too! All of us who loved him will miss him terribly.

Perry is survived by his brother Jay (Jo) Flickinger and his family;his sister Carmen Rickert and her family; sister in law Linda Flickinger and her family; Ruby’s children and grandchildren, especially granddaughter Amber Howard who helped care for Perry after Ruby’s death. He has extended family and friends who will miss him also, including his cousin Merle Steffen.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ruby; brothers: David, Stephen and Howard; and sisters: Sandra Sulflow and Trudy Flickinger.
