Ramona Worsech

Ramona Worsech of Montevideo died on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Luther Haven Nursing Home at the age of 92.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Keith Brustuen officiating.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.

Ramona Worsech was born on May 11, 1931 to Albert and M. Stella (Hahn) Siegel in Wood Lake, MN.  She was baptized at St. Lukes and confirmed at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Wood Lake.  She attended school in Wood Lake and graduated from there in 1949.  Ramona was united in marriage to Marvin Worsech on May 28, 1950.  Marvin was killed in October of 1975.

Through out the years, Ramona was employed at  S&L Department Store.  She enjoyed volunteer work for her church, the hospital auxiliary, and the senior meal site.  She moved to Brookside Manor when the new facility opened and so enjoyed living there.

Ramona is survived by her nephew, David (Karen) Worsech and son Luke; sister-in-law, Betty Siegel; and many nieces and nephews.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents: Albert Siegel, Stella Narr; husband, Marvin Worsech; son, Paul Worsech in 2013,  step-father, William Narr; brother, Lowell Siegel and sister, Marlys (Norris) Sletten.
