Randy Blaine Tiffany, was born December 28, 1953, and took up his fishing rod to meet his Savior on April 20, 2019.  Randy was born to Elmer and Delores (Lupinek) Tiffany in Sisseton, South Dakota.  He was baptized into the Lutheran faith in Edgley, ND, and confirmed in Watson, MN.  As a railroad family, they relocated frequently, and moved “home” to Montevideo, MN, in 1967, where they joined Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.  In 1987, Randy married the love of his life, Rita (Schweiss), and the couple had two children, Adam John and MaryCatherine Anne (Hlebain).

Randy was an avid fisherman, hunter and trapper, activities he enjoyed with family and friends, carrying enough fishing poles to outfit anyone at the lake.  Collecting and trying out lures was his passion.  He also enjoyed motorcycling, card playing, attending concerts and races and touring Milan on his golf cart.  Randy was an excellent grill and smoke master, always in charge of preparing the meat for holidays.

Randy spent nine years proudly serving our country in the National Guard.  Following his discharge, he attended vocational school for small engine repair.  He enjoyed tinkering with all kinds of motors.  Randy worked for the railroad until a work accident in 1987 ended his career, at which time he became the family domestic engineer.  In 2005 he began working at Prairie’s Edge Casino, where he worked until 2010 when he started working at Walmart, working there until he became ill with cancer.

He is survived by  his wife, Rita; children: Randy, Jr. (Jackie), Jerome (fiancée Alicia), Adam Tiffany and MaryCatherine (Kerry) Hlebain; his siblings: Laurie Olson, Sandra (Dave) Tiffany, Terry Tiffany; 8 grandchildren; father-in-law, Francis Schweiss; nieces, nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Patricia (Tiffany) Ward; and mother-in-law, Mary Schweiss.
