Raymond Nelson Bahre was born March 14, 1917, at Dawson, MN, the son of Fred C. and Marie E. (Soderberg) Bahre. He graduated from Dawson High School in 1935, and served in the US Army during WW II in the Medical Corps. He was self employed as a painter, loved to ride his bike around Dawson, and enjoyed fishing and collecting stamps.
Ray died on Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at the Johnson Memorial Home in Dawson at the age of 82.
He is survived by one brother, Maynard Bahre and his wife, Violet, of San Carlos, CA; one nephew Fred Bahre; and one niece, Bonnie Bahre and her children, Dana and Gregory Graves.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
