Raymond Hinde, 87, of Montevideo died Saturday, November 12, 1994 at his home in Sparta Township.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 16 at 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church. Rev. Robert Ford will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-8:00 P.M. at Anderson Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 P.M.
Raymond H. Hinde was born December 7, 1906 at LeMars, IA the son of John and Stella (Moore) Hinde. He attended school and grew to adulthood there. Ray farmed in Colorado and Iowa before he was united in marriage with Florence Penning December 10, 1930 at Souix City, IA. They farmed near LeMars until 1952 when they moved to Montevideo, MN. Ray enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Florence; one son Max and his wife Carol of Montevideo; two daughters: Betty Osborne and her husband Bill of Montevideo and Joanne Freudenberg and her husband Cliff of Stillwater, MN; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother Lee and his wife Esther of Julesburg, CO; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one great-grandson Jay Mortensen; five brothers: Harold, Bob, Allen, Glen, and Jack; and two sisters: Myrtle Adamson and Dolly Clark.
