Renae Angele (Siverson) Hein

Renae Angele Hein, of Montevideo, died on Sunday, May 13, 2007 as a result of an accident at the age of 43.  Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 1:30 PM at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo with Rev. Paul Woolverton officiating.  Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon and evening, the family will be present from 5 - 7 PM and there will be a prayer service at 7:00 PM, all at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo.

Renae Angele (Siverson) Hein was born on June 5, 1963 in Brookings, SD to Eric Gordon and Nona Jean (Sandro) Siverson. She was baptized at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN.  She grew up in Milan, MN, where she was confirmed at Kviteseid Lutheran Church.  She attended Milan Schools and graduated from Milan High School in 1981.  In January of 1982 she was united in marriage to Brad Borg and to this union were born two daughters: Tarah and Leah.  She worked at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo for a number of years.  She attended Ridgewater Community College in Willmar for two years receiving an Associate Degree and graduated from St. Catherine’s in 1995 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked as an Registered Occupational Therapist at Luther Haven for a short time and has been working at the Madison Lutheran Home since 1998. On July 10, 1998 she was united in marriage to Mark Hein, and to this union was born a son, Carson. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church,  was a Sunday School Teacher and enjoyed her book club. She loved sports, playing softball, biking, gardening, knitting, doing carpentry and the challenges of new projects. She loved to laugh and smile, was a gentle spirit and loved her family above all else.

She is survived by her husband, Mark;. Children: Tarah (and Zachary) Lee of Montevideo and Leah Borg and Carson Hein of Montevideo; step-children, Christopher Hein of Marseille, France and Celine Hein of Moorhead, MN; a grandson, Brayden Lee; her parents, Gordon & Nona Siverson of Milan, MN; siblings: Robin (and Phil) Schoep and Greg (and Lisa) Siverson, both of Montevideo; Becky (and Rich) Leiseth of Maynard, MN; a grandmother, Norma Siverson of Hendricks, MN; parents-in-law, Keith and Lois Hein of Montevideo; brothers-in-law, Kevin Hein of Montevideo and Tom (and Barb) Hein of St. Cloud, MN, as well as by a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and her paternal grandfather.
