Renelle Joersz of Montevideo, died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at her home in Montevideo at the age of 61.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo. Interment will be at a later date this summer in Peace Cemetery in New Salem, ND.
Renelle Kay Joersz was born on September 18, 1954 in Hazen, ND to Henry and Kathryn (Weber) Joersz. She was baptized on October 17th, 1954 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Hazen, ND and confirmed in that same church on May 30, 1971. Renelle's early years were filled with school in both the Hazen and Beulah public school systems, enjoying special interests, and helping her mother with general house work where needed. She loved people, especially babies, and enjoyed learning of the Lord at church and in various Bible classes. Renelle lived with her parents until their deaths in the late 1990s. In 1999, she moved to Montevideo, MN to be closer to her older sister, Corrine Knutson, a long time resident of Montevideo.
Renelle worked at Chippewa Enterprises, Inc. In Montevideo and enjoyed the work as well as working with her friends. Renelle’s hobbies included: ceramics, bowling, latch hook, playing cards and other games, folding clothes, cleaning, Curves, and spending time with family and friends.
Renelle is survived by her brothers: Dennis (Claudia) Joersz of Williamsville, NY and Eldon (Carol) Joersz of McKinney, TX; her nieces and nephews: Renee (Joersz) Lundberg, Sheri (Joersz) Leiser, Chad Knutson, Kirstie (Knutson) Meyer, Jeff Knutson, Jonathan Joersz, Jessica (Joersz) Thurman, and Jeremy Joersz; and other relatives and friends.
Renelle is preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Kathryn; her brother, Ronald; and her sister, Corrine Knutson with whom she was very close.
