Robert Frederickson

Robert Frederickson died Friday, May 27, 2022 at Rosewood Specialty Care in Montevideo at the age of 79.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1:30 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Keith Brustuen officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 PM.  There will also be visitation at the church for one hour before the service.

Robert James Frederickson was born January 15, 1943 in Clarkfield, MN the son of John and Delores (Thompson) Frederickson.  He grew up in Boyd and graduated from Boyd High School in 1961.  Robert attended business school in Mankato and then moved to the metro area.  He started working in the accounting department with the US Postal Service in the mid 1980's.  He retired at the end of December 2009 after 24 1/2 years of service.  Robert enjoyed all sports but especially golf and bowling.  He also enjoyed watching old movies.  He was a Gentle Giant, had a great laugh and loved food (there wasn't much he wouldn't eat). Robert moved to Montevideo in 2015.

He is survived by four siblings: John Frederickson, Jeff Frederickson, Cheryl Christenson, and Pamela (Robert) Watson and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Richard; sister-in-law, Barb Frederickson; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Christenson.
