Robert Hadrath, 76, of Sioux Falls, SD and formerly of Montevideo, MN died May 22, 1999 at the Royal C. Johnson Veteran’s Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 1999 at 11:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo, MN. Rev. Paul Wolverton will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Robert William Hadrath was born April 11, 1923 at Montevideo, MN the son of Ernest and Alma (Janke) Hadrath. He attended school and grew to adulthood there. Robert served in the US Army during WW II. He was united in marriage with Marilyn Stark April 4, 1954 in Montevideo, MN. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1961 and he worked at Meilman’s meat packing house for 18 years. They moved to Montevideo in 1987 and then back to Sioux Falls, SD in 1997. Robert was a lifetime member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two children: William Hadrath and his wife Patricia of Denver, CO and Lynette Dahl and her husband Gary of Aurora, CO; four grandchildren: Timothy and Nicole Dahl and Grand and Jessica Hadrath; and one sister, Donna Belle Lovhaug and her husband Vernard of Rochester, MN.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Michael in 1973; and one brother, Wayne.
