Bob Loe, of Maynard, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital at the age of 84. Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, November 14, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at Maynard Lutheran Church with Rev. Tim Ehling officiating. Interment will be in the Wang Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon and evening with the family present from 4 - 7 P.M. and with a prayer service at 4:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Robert (Bob) Loe was born on January 22, 1927 in Montevideo, MN to Olaf and Anna (Haugland) Loe. He graduated from Maynard High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was united in marriage to Patsy Gorman and they made their home in Oregon. Bob later returned to Maynard and worked for a number of years at the sugar beet plant in Renville until retiring in 1990. He was united in marriage to Zola Aeikens and following her death was united in marriage to Vi Christiansen. He enjoyed helping with farm work, traveling, camping, eating out, going to Arizona and especially spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Vi; children Dan (and Kim) Loe of Minneapolis, MN, Nancy Pierskalla of Annandale, MN, Bonnie (and Jerry) Pauling of Montevideo, MN, Kelly (and Dean) Hengel of Morgan, MN, Sharon Suter of Montevideo, MN, Bill (and Linda) Christiansen of Waseca, MN, Carol (and Dan) Jakobs of Montevideo, MN, Kathy Kashmark of Montevideo, MN, Nancy (and Jeff) Hoogheem of Maynard, MN and Wendy (and Jerry) Jakobs of Montevideo, MN; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Katherine (and Paul) Zucker of San Diego, CA; a brother, Duane (and Anitra) Loe of Spicer, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife; a daughter; a grandson and two sons-in-law.
