Robert Charles Moe

Robert C. Moe died on August 20, 1997 at his home in Forest Grove, OR at the age of 58.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, August 25, 1997 at 1:30 PM at the Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan, MN with Rev. Wayne Anderson officiating.  Janet Tostenson was the organist.  The casketbearers were - Chris Perry; Brooke Gabrielson; Bob Molden; Josh Stock; Larry Molden and Mark Molden; and the Honorary Casket Bearers were - Nicholas Stock; Adam Wilkening; Angela Moe; Leroy Gilbertson; Mitchel Stock; Vanessa Wilkening; Jessica Moe and Andrew Gabrielson.  The burial was in the Kviteseid Lutheran Cemetery.

Robert Charles Moe was born on April 22, 1939 in Watson, MN to Joseph and Marjorie (Fuller) Johnson.  He was baptized and confirmed at Kviteseid Lutheran Church.  He was adopted by John Moe following John's marriage to Marjorie.  He attended Milan Public Schools and served in the US Navy.  On January 31, 1959 he was united in marriage to Marvis Moseng, and to that union were born 5 children - Connie, Debra, Janice, Robert and Patricia.  Robert worked as the owner/operator of an over-the-road truck.  He lived in Milan, MN and also had a residence in Forest Grove, OR.  He was a member of the Elks and Eagle's Lodges in Oregon.  He enjoyed western movies, home-cooked meals, socializing and working around his yard and shop.  He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, liked animals and especially enjoyed his dog - Megan.

He is survived by daughters - Connie (John) Stock of Correll, MN; Debra (Brian) Wilkening of Correll, MN; Janice (Wendell) Schmidt of Holloway, MN; and Patricia (Curtis) Gabrielson of Big Bend, MN; a son - Robert (Karen) Moe of Robbinsdale, MN; grandchildren - Nicholas, Mitchel and Josh Stock; Adam and Vanessa Wilkening; Angela and Jessica Moe; Leroy, Andrew and Brooke Gabrielson and Chris Perry; a sister - Betty (Darlys) Molden of Milan, MN; as well as several nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents - Marjorie Berge, Joe Johnson and John Moe.
