Robin Rae (Stevens) Bofferding

Robin Rae Bofferding died Friday, September 22, 2006 in Lake Park, MN at the age of 63. Services were in Lake Park. She was born on January 26, 1943 in Tacoma, WA to Glenn &  Mickey Stevens.  She graduated from Montevideo (MN) High School.  In 1972 she graduated from SW MN State University in Marshall MN with a BS degree. She married Darrell Bofferding.  She served as director of the FM Indian Center in Fargo, ND and received her Masters Degree in Political Science from the J.F.K. School of Government at Harvard. She moved to Boulder, CO in 1985, where she worked for the Lt. Governor’s office as Director of Indian Services for the State of Colorado.  In 1992 she returned to Fargo as Director of Student Affairs at North Dakota State University. She has been a resident of the Sunnyside Care Center in Lake Park, MN for a  number of years.

Surviving are two children: Theresa Stevens, Boulder, CO and Theodore Bofferding, Little Falls, MN and a sister, Dale Darchuk, Superior, WI.
