Robyn McKeown, of rural Danvers, died on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Appleton Hospital at the age of 55.
Services will be conducted on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. at the Church of St. Joseph in Montevideo.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 3 from 5 - 7 P.M with a prayer vigil at 7:00 P.M. at the Church of St. Joseph in Montevideo. Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Robyn (Beckenbach) McKeown was born January 23, 1959 in Coon Rapids, MN the daughter of Laurence and Virginia (Petersen) Beckenbach. She graduated form Coon Rapids High School in 1977. She spent many years living near Glacier National Park before moving to Milan, MN. This helped nurture her love for the outdoors. Robyn Snook was united in marriage with Richard McKeown January 17, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Montevideo. They lived in Milan for a short time and then made their home in rural Danvers, MN. She was an artist and loved to paint. Robyn enjoyed gardening, yard work and being a homemaker. She loved fishing with Rick and the dog, especially crappie fishing.
She is survived by her husband, Rick; her children: Curtis (Libby) Snook of Kalispell, MT and Lacey Snook of Kalispell, MT; step-children: Clarey (Brendan) McInerny of Bronx, NY and Capt. Conor (Jessica) McKeown of Ft. Gordon, GA; six grandchildren with two more on the way; and her siblings: Becky Ahrens Gibbon, MN, Pat (Rick) Civilla of Coon Rapids, MN, Laurie (Stan) Gullickson of Gibbon, MN, and Wade (Karen) Beckenbach of Brooklyn Park, MN.
Preceding her in death were her father, Laurence, mother, Virginia, and step-father, James Morehouse.
