Rollin "Rollie" Wold, of Dawson, died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson at the age of 68. Memorial service at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 26, at Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rollin Harold Wold was born September 11, 1942 at Dawson, MN the son of Harold and Areta (Schmoker) Wold. He graduated from Dawson High School in 1960 and later attended the U of M at Morris and St. Cloud State. He was united in marriage with Rose Schuelke March 21, 1964 at Dawson, MN. They lived in Spencer, IA, Wausau, WI, and Delano, MN before moving to Dawson in 1976. Rollie operated the Wold Insurance Agency in Dawson. He served as chamber president and president of the Madison Speedway. Rollie enjoyed racing cars, playing golf, and most recently hunting and camping. He is survived by his wife, Rose; four children: Marty (Shelly) Wold of New Richmond, WI, Michael (Jennifer) Wold of Madison, Stephanie (Mark) Weber of Dawson, and Jennifer (Austin) Colby Waconia, MN; eleven grandchildren and one on the way; one sister, Mary (Paul) Wager of Dawson; and nieces and nephews.
