Ronald Campbell

January 11, 1944 — June 5, 2015

Ronald Campbell, of Spicer, died Friday, June 5, 2015 at Rice Care Center in Willmar, MN at the age of 71.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.  Rev. Christopher Lieske will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Ronald Campbell was born January 11, 1944 in Montevideo, MN to Leslie and Lillian (Frith) Campbell.  He graduated from Montevideo High School and grew up attending St. Paul Lutheran Church.  Ronnie worked as a caretaker for the American Legion in Spicer and was recently employed as the caretaker and maintenance man for the Lakeside Inn.

He was an avid fisherman and loved fishing whenever he got the chance.  He was a common sight around Spicer and the fishing circles in the area.  Ronnie’s favorite time of year was around Christmas time; it meant a lot to him and he loved spending the Holidays with his family.  He was very proud of the many nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews he was blessed with.

He is survived by his sister, Cathleen (Wallace) Heggestad of Montevideo; brothers: Lee (Donna) Campbell of Princeton, MN and Paul Campbell of Montevideo; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Leslie and Lillian Campbell.
