Ronald Ladwig, of Montevideo, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 74.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.  Rev. Marie Eckberg will officiate, and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Funeral services will be live streamed on Ronald's obituary page. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Arrangements are with Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home of Montevideo.

Ronald Lee Ladwig was born May 18, 1946 in Montevideo, MN to Orval and Lillian (Zuehlke) Ladwig.  He enlisted in the United States National Guard in 1966.  Ron worked for many years with his father at Orv and Ron’s TV Repair and Appliance, and later worked for Chippewa County until he retired.  He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards and camping.  Ron and his family would take yearly camping trips all over Minnesota.  When playing cards, he loved Buck Euchre, Pinochle, and 31.

Ron is survived by his sons, Thomas (Rochelle) Ladwig of Granite Falls, MN and Bobby Ladwig (Donna Dox) of Bloomington, MN; grandchildren: Taylor, Kaitlyn, Autumn, and Devin; sisters: Lavonne (Mervin) Barron, Jeannie (Jerry) Beveridge, and Lou Ann Streich; brother, Alan Ladwig (Doris Loe); brother-in-law, Bruce Wittrock; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald Ladwig; sister, Linda Wittrock; and brother-in-law, Lloyd Streich.
