M. Rosamond Lundquist was born March 29, 1916, in Strandburg, South Dakota, the daughter of Gottfried and Ellen (Nelson) Lundquist.
Rosamond Lundquist and Clifford G. Hanson were united in marriage and to this union Clifford S. Hanson was born.
Because of Clifford's business they traveled and lived in many places. While in Dawson they were partners with Art and Vivian Emerson in the local grocery store. Clifford died while in Hawaii on May 29, 1970.
Rosamond had been living in Texas for the last 2 1/2 years and entered the Hearthstone Nursing Home a few weeks ago. She passed away there on Monday, July 27, 1998, at the age of 82 years 3 months, and 28 days.
She is survived by her son, Clifford S. Hanson and wife, Mary Jane, of Round Rock, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brother, James Lundquist and wife, Phyllis, of Minneapolis; sister-in-law, Barb Lundquist of Dawson; brother-in-law, Art Emerson of Dawson; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: John, Warren(Ernie), and Fred Lundquist; and sisters: Hazel Olson and Vivian Emerson.
