Rosemarie Haase, of Montevideo, died on Monday, May 2, 2011 in Montevideo at the age of 58. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Marie Eckberg officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening with the family present from 5 - 7 P.M. and with a prayer service at 5:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and for one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church Rosemarie Ellen (Kruckman) Haase was born on April 30, 1953 in Granite Falls, MN to Albert and Bernice (Lalim) Kruckman. She was baptized on May 31, 1953 in Granite Falls and confirmed at Hanley Falls Lutheran Church. She attended school in Hanley Falls and Granite Falls and graduated from Clarkfield High School. She attended MN West in Granite Falls, obtaining an AAS Degree in Accounting. She worked as a waitress and a cook at a variety of places including Happy Chef in Marshall, The Crown in Granite Falls, the Mohawk Cafe and Country Kitchen in Montevideo and for many years at the Trailways Cafe in Montevideo. She was currently a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo. She enjoyed playing Keno at the casino, playing games with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, playing cards and Yahtzee and putting together jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed visiting, crocheting, always had the coffee pot on and loved to entertain, and especially loved the company of her grandchildren. She is survived by four children: Kara (and Aaron) Carter of Cibolo, TX; James Kruckman of Montevideo; Justin Haase of Kansas and Kyle (and Kristina) Haase of Montevideo; nine grandchildren; siblings: Betty Jensen of Madison, SD; Beverly (and Jerry) McClain of Garretson, SD; Jane (and Greg) Flinn of Montevideo; Harold (and Shelly) Kruckman of Hazel Run, MN and William "Bill"Kruckman of Dawson, MN and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Albert "Sonny" Kruckman this past January.
