Roy Hadrath, of Morgan, MN and formerly of Montevideo, died on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at his home in Morgan at the age of 68. Memorial services will be on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Hope reformed Church in Montevideo with Pastor Mike Altena officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 6th from 2 - 3 P.M. with Masonic Rites at 3 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Roy Lee Hadrath was born on October 10, 1942 in Montevideo, MN to Roland and LuElla (Reiten) Hadrath. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School. On July 6, 1991 he was united in marriage to Linda Anderson at Camden State Park. He lived all his life in Montevideo until moving to Morgan in August 0f 2010. He was a driver for Western CO-OP in Montevideo, retiring in September of 2010. He was a member of Hope Reformed Church, Masons, was a Shriner and a member of the Royal Arch. His interests included archery, motorcycles, collector cars, collecting guns and Harley Davidson belt buckles, hiking, camping, campfires and the outdoors. He also enjoyed Southern Gospel Music. His family and especially his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He is survived by his wife, Linda; six children: Jacqueline Hadrath of Sioux Falls, SD; Angella Hadrath of Moorhead, MN; Sherri (and Steven) Smith of Kodiak, AK; Tanya (and Jason) Kevelin of Morgan, MN; Jim (and Barb) Brockman of Echo, MN and Todd Brockman of Echo, MN; seven grandchildren: Jordan Kevelin; Molly Kevelin; Ryan Kevelin; Malia Smith; Micheal Brockman; Madelynn Brockman and T.J. Brockman; two brothers: Ronald (and Carol) Hadrath of Montevideo and Kerry Hadrath of Arlington, MN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
