In earlier days she enjoyed dancing to polka's and waltz's.  In later years she enjoyed listening to her son-in-law, Verlyn Kling and also Daniel O' Donnell. She was known as a great cook and baker - especially her donuts, flat bread,  lefsa, rosettes and pies.
