Ruth Millie (Connor) Tereick

Montevideo

Ruth TerEick, of Montevideo, died on Saturday, September 2, 2000 at the Granite Falls Manor in Granite Falls, MN at the age of 85.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, September 6, 2000 at 1:30 PM at Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo.  Burial was in the Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.

Ruth Millie (Connor) TerEick was born on January 3, 1915 in Dawson, MN to Lloyd and Allie (Fricke) Connor.  She grew up in the Dawson area and attended both rural and Dawson schools.  She was united in marriage to Henry TerEick in 1937 in Watertown, SD.  They lived in Wegdahl, MN for many years before she moved to Montevideo in 1995.  She lived for a short time in Starbuck and Alexandria, MN before returning to Montevideo in October of 1999.  She has been a resident of the Granite Falls Manor for the past couple of weeks.  She enjoyed gardening, crafts, canning, her pets, home and family.

She is survived by a daughter - Patricia Reinke of Montevideo; a son - Wayne TerEick of Alexandria, MN; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great, great grandchildren; a sister - Alma Bestland of Hoffman, MN and a brother - Donald Connor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry in 1970, a daughter - Barbara TerEick in 1994, a grandson - Robert Reinke; a brother - Lloyd Connor and sisters - Julia Jones and Helen Menge.
