Sharon Eide, of Montevideo, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 surrounded by her family at her home in Montevideo at the age of 67.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan with Rev. Kristine Isder officiating.. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo with a prayer service at 6:30 PM.. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
Sharon Marie Schneiderman Eide was born July 3, 1948 to Aljean and Betty (Olson) Schneiderman. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1966. She married Ronald Eide on May 19, 1967 at Big Bend Lutheran Church. Together they made their home in Montevideo and in Appleton area. They had three children, Ronda, Roxanne and Wade. Besides being a wife and mother Sharon worked for Dr. Lambert’s Chiropractic Office in Montevideo and Jakes in Montevideo as well as the Danver’s Café. Sharon also volunteered at Full Circle in Milan.
Sharon was all about her family, enjoying her time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved music and started singing at an early age and would sing for weddings and funerals. Sharon taught Sunday school and was involved in the Christmas program at church. Because Sharon enjoyed flea markets and garage sales she and Ron would travel around even to other states to shop. Family will remember Sharon for her Spam hotdish, cookies and desserts. They will also remember that Sharon enjoyed a clean and organized home and her enjoyment of shopping for a great deal. She enjoyed life by the phrase “It is what it is”.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ron; her children: Ronda (Nathan) Stock of Willmar, Roxanne (Kent) Smith of Montevideo, and Wade (Karie) Eide of Miltona; her grandchildren: Brady (Elly) Stock, Brandon Stock, Brett Stock, MaKayla Stock, Rebecca Smith, Natasha Smith, Alexis Smith, Austin Eide, and Amanda Eide; two great-grandchildren: Liam and Alexander Stock; two aunts: Frances Schneiderman of Appleton and Shirley (Loyal) Tingelstad of Detroit Lakes; and other relatives and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
