Sharon Schroeder

Sharon Schroeder, of Montevideo, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the Olivia Care Center at the age of 77.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo with Rev. Donald S. McKee officiating.

Sharon Ann Schroeder was born on 11/20/46 to James and Evelyn Macziewski) Eddy. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and attended Montevideo High School. She married Merle Schroeder and they had 3 sons: Matthew, Michael and Brent. They divorced after 42 years. She has been with her longtime friend, Stan Peters for many years. She worked at MTI for many years and owned her own bakery in Milan, Sharon’s Cake and Bake.

Sharon enjoyed many crafts, was an excellent ceramic bird painter, crocheted, cross stitched, sewed, and loved to bake. She enjoyed going to the casino with Stan and her sister Michelle. 

Sharon was a caregiver. She took care of many family members in her life including her father James, mother Evelyn, and brother Harlan. 

She is survived by two sons: Matthew (Daniella) Schroeder and Brent (Tracey) Schroeder; six 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; friend, Stan Peters; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her father, James; mother, Evelyn; brother, Harlan; sister, Michelle; former husband, Merle Schroeder; and a son, Michael Schroeder.
