Sharon Winters

Sharon Winters, of Montevideo, died on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at the Abbot-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 55.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at 3:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Leo Deitemeyer officiating.  Burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Sharon Winters was born on January 15, 1945 in Chippewa County, MN  to William and Esther (Linde) Winters.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1963.  She worked as a Nursing Assistant at Luther Haven Nursing Home for over 20 years.  She was a lifelong resident of Montevideo and a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two brothers: Richard Winters and Bruce Winters, both of Montevideo; a number of nieces and nephews; and grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Donald Winters; and two sisters: Patricia Rustand and Carol Radermacher.
