Sheldon Christians, of Willmar, died on Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital at the age of 49. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Tim Ehling officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 - 7 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Sheldon Eugene Christians was born on August 22, 1962 in Montevideo, MN to Lewelden and Arlyce (Jordahl) Ostenson. He lived in Hillsboro and Hatten, ND for several years and attended public schools in Clarkfield and Granite Falls, MN. He then lived in Granite Falls for several years before moving to Willmar, MN where he currently resided. He went to Ridgewater College and worked in property management. He enjoyed taking pictures and spending time with his children and grandchildren, his best friends of many years, Dean Gylten and Tami Prekker, along with other friends and family. He is survived by three children: Tabatha Christians, Cory Christians and Cameron Christians, all of Granite Falls, MN; a brother, Scott Christians of Crookston, MN; a sister, Shannon (Ostenson) Klarich of Farmington, MN; and grandchildren: Mercedes (Sadie Leigh), Adison, Brianna and Ava. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arlyce Ann Jordahl and Leweldon Eugene Ostenson, a brother, Kevin Hamre; aunt, Patti Saboe; and by his grandparents.
